Sudan receives its eighth Saudi airlift relief aircraft

22 May 2023, Port Sudan, SPA -- Today's arrival of the eighth Saudi aid plane at Port Sudan International Airport brought 30 tonnes of food aid and medical supplies.

In accordance with the instructions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the aid is being provided as part of the Saudi relief airlift that the King Salman Centre for Relief and Humanitarian Action is running to aid the Sudanese people. This is a testament to the noble humanitarian role that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has played towards other nations.
