We have already observed New Year's Day and the four-day weekend that followed Eid al-Fitr this year.

However, with nine significant public holidays still to come, many people may be considering their next vacation.

The first of them will coincide with Arafat Day, which is anticipated to occur on June 27.

One of the most important days to mark on your calendar is Eid al Adha 2023, which comes after Arafat Day, the second day of the seven-day Hajj journey.

The days of Wednesday, Wednesday 28, Thursday 29, and Friday, 30 are likely to be observed as the Holiday of Sacrifice.

This might result in four consecutive public holidays from Tuesday, June 27, to Friday, June 30, towards the end of the month.

If the weekend of July 1-2 is taken into account, it opens the possibility of a six-day vacation.

After New Year's Day and Eid al Fitr, Arafat Day and Eid al Adha will be the third and fourth important public holidays of the year.

Confirmed dates for Eid al Adha will only be made public in Dubai based on the pertinent Moon sightings, similar to the preceding Eid al Fitr.

But that doesn't negate the value of forethought.

By the end of 2023, the UAE will have had a total of 14 public holidays. See the whole list below.
