Emirates inaugurates a brand-new "City Check-In and Travel Store" in DIFC
Emirates will soon open a new City Check-in and Travel Store in the centre of Dubai's thriving business area. Here, clients will be able to effortlessly plan travel, check-in for flights, drop off luggage, buy travel necessities, and avoid long lines at the airport. The cutting-edge facility will be accessible starting on April 27 and is situated in the prestigious ICD Brookfield Place in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
The City Check-in and Travel Store, which is located in the financial district of Dubai, has a prime and premium location for busy professionals and enables customers to check their bags up to 4 hours before a flight, allowing them to arrive at the airport at their convenience. This is just one example of Emirates' ongoing commitment to improving the customer experience. Customers can visit the location and check in at any time between 8:00am and 10:00pm on any given day. They can start their travel experience with seamless service at self-check-in kiosks, at designated desks with Emirates agents or with Sara, the first check-in robot assistant in history.
Sara is a cutting-edge mobile robotic check-in system that can recognise faces from scanned passports, register travellers, and direct them to the luggage drop location. The City Check-in and Travel Store is a stylish and roomy contemporary space that offers the chance to book tickets, browse travel goods, drop luggage, and check in. Paid valet parking and self-parking ensure an elevated, hassle-free check-in experience for Emirates passengers. It also features a striking 2.5 metre LCD screen showing the most recent destination content from Emirates, as well as additional screens showing an interactive touchscreen map. Visitors can also receive professional recommendations and deals on hot vacation destinations, and knowledgeable travel advisers can help with booking tickets for upcoming trips, managing existing reservations, purchasing upgrades, choosing preferred seats, and organising more baggage if necessary.
Passengers travelling on Emirates with valid boarding passes will receive complimentary access to a few lifestyle facilities at the renowned ICD Brookfield Place, as well as special discounts and offers at a number of restaurants, fitness centres, and upscale retailers, including Josette, 1Rebel, Lulu and the Beanstalk, and Embody Fitness. Visitors can take advantage of a wide variety of amenities near the DIFC, including a large promenade on Gate Avenue and world-class dining and retail options. When it's time to take off, travellers may connect immediately to the airport via a cab, Emirates' chauffeur service, or a quick 10-minute walk to the Financial Centre Metro Station, which smoothly connects into the Airport Terminal 3 Metro Station.
Chief Operating Officer of Emirates, Adel al Redha, said: "Emirates City Check In is our newest addition to the Emirates travel experience, demonstrating our commitment to offering consumers a variety of check-in alternatives. The first extremely convenient luggage drop and check-in location in the DIFC area is our new location. Queuing can be reduced by avoiding peak airport travel times.
In the future, Al Redha said, "We look forward to offering our customers more technologically oriented solutions and we are pleased to work with ICD Brookfield on this project."
In a statement, ICD Brookfield CEO Rob Devereux said: "We are delighted to welcome Emirates City Check-In and Travel Shop to ICD Brookfield Place, further boosting our ecosystem as an appealing location for staff, tourists and residents. This fantastic new addition will bring city check-in convenience to the heart of business, giving Emirates passengers more time to go about their daily activities, make the most of their time at work, and take advantage of the excellent lifestyle Dubai has to offer.
