The Emirates Group on Tuesday began a significant hiring drive to fill hundreds of open posts for cabin crew, pilots, engineers, IT specialists, and customer care representatives.

The company's two largest businesses, Emirates airline and airport services provider dnata, are participating in the recruitment campaign.

According to Oliver Grohmann, senior vice-president for human resources at the Emirates Group, "our focus is on recruiting the best talent, the brightest minds, and those most fit for the various roles that will support and drive our future growth and expansion."

In order to shortlist, choose, and reply to candidates in the most effective methods possible, he stated, "We are using the most cutting-edge technologies, such as digital assessments, artificial intelligence, and other top-notch recruitment systems."

For positions across the business, the group received almost 2.7 million applications during the most recent fiscal year.

At the end of the 2022–23 fiscal year, the group employed 102,379 people, an increase of 20% or 85,219 over the prior year.

Since late 2021, as the world started to recover from the pandemic, Emirates, flydubai, and other regional airlines have started significant recruitment campaigns.

In 2022–2023, the group reported a record profit of Dh10.9 billion, up from a loss of Dh3.8 billion the year before.

Dubai's flag carrier also requires more workers to keep up with its needs as it grows its route network and receives new Airbus and Boeing aircraft. Next year, the airline will increase the number of Airbus A350 and Boeing 777-X aircraft in its fleet.

All year long, Emirates will host exclusive events and open days in hundreds of cities. Within a day, the hiring procedure is finished, and after the assessment, candidates are contacted.

Emirates will host a series of open days in August in Dublin, Manchester, London Gatwick, and London Stansted to find new pilots. On July 19 at 1pm, Dubai time, there will be an online information session.

Over 900 new pilots have joined the airline's three recruitment programmes since 2022: direct entry captains, rapid command, and first officers.

In July and August, Emirates Engineering is organising open days in Australia, Canada, Brazil, South Africa, and the UK to fill 75 structural technician positions as well as more than 400 engineering support and aviation maintenance engineering positions.

In order to fill a variety of positions in software engineering, DevOps, hybrid cloud, agile delivery, technical product management, digital workplace, cybersecurity, IT architecture, innovation, and service management, the firm hopes to hire around 400 IT specialists.

Emirates Group is seeking candidates for customer service positions who will undergo rigorous training before joining Emirates Airport Services, dnata, marhaba, or the contact centres. Customers service professionals have the opportunity to pursue their lifestyle and professional goals by working either full- or part-time jobs.
