University of Sharjah participates the HLVQSD International Conference
The University of Sharjah (UoS) participated virtually in the international conference "The Heavens in the Light of the Verses of the Qur'an and Scientific Data" (HLVQSD) organised by The Turkish Supreme Council for Religious Affairs. This stems from the university's eagerness to participate in regional and international conferences and publish various academic research.
His Excellency, Prof. Hamid M.K. Al Naimiy, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah and President of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences (AUASS), and Prof. Mashhoor Al-Wardat, Professor of Astrophysics at the University of Sharjah and Director of Academic Affairs at the Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space Sciences and Technology (SAASST), presented several scientific papers and research during the conference sessions.
The papers covered a variety of topics, including the scientific interpretation of the existence, the scientific interpretation of the creation of the heavens and the earth, the probable scientific explanations of how water forms, and the possible scientific justifications for human action in space.
